Information and Dinner Options

Annual General Meeting

Our 2020 Annual General Meeting will be held at the Marriott Heathrow/Windsor Hotel (Ditton Road) on Saturday 22nd February 2020 during lunch in the hotel restaurant (from 12.30pm until 2pm).  If you would like to come but are not attending the seminars, you are welcome to join us for lunch, please just let me know in advance.

All board positions must be re-elected on an annual basis.  If you are interested in getting involved with the running of the organisation or would like to nominate a SOTO Europe member for a board position, please contact one of our board members via our website contacts page.

Gala Dinner

The Board of SOTO Europe would like to invite all SOTO Europe members and student members to the Annual Gala Dinner, which will start at 8pm (seated from 7.45pm) and will be held in the Buckingham Suite at the Heathrow/Windsor Marriott Hotel.

The dinner is FREE to all those attending seminars in 2020 and all other SOTO Europe members.  If you would like to bring a non-member guest, the price of the ticket is £35.  Dress code is smart, so lounge suites and cocktail dresses are encouraged!

The Suite has its own private bar, however drinks are not included.

So whether you are a long-standing member, or have just attended your first SOT seminar, we would be delighted to see you there.

Deadline for menu choices – Friday 14th February 2020.  Bookings or changes to menu choices will NOT be taken after this date or during the weekend of the seminars.  No exceptions.

If you have any further dietary requirements, please note them on the email and we will do our best to accommodate.

Smoked Mackerel & crème fraiche, Cucumber, Watercress and Carrot Salad, croute – (gf without croute)

Warm Leek and Sussex Blue Tart with watercress, Poached Pear and Walnut Dressing – (v)

Mains

Slow cooked Beef, Olives crushed new potatoes, green beans, Roasted Vegetables, rosemary sauce – (gf/df)

Seabass fillet, Olives crushed new potatoes, Broccoli, Roasted red pepper and basil dressing – (gf/df)

Pan Roasted Provencal Vegetables in garlic and thyme, Creamed Basil Polenta, rocket leaves, Tomato and Olive dressing – (v)

Desserts

Flourless Chocolate and Almond cake, Vanilla cream, berry compote – (v/gf)

Sticky Toffee Pudding, Toffee Sauce, Vanilla Ice cream – (v)

Fresh Fruit Salad & Berries, Sorbet – (v/vg/gf/df)
