Course Details

As a leading provider of post-graduate training in the chiropractic field, SOTO Europe runs a series of seminars to advance understanding and proficiency in Sacro Occipital Technique. The teaching is modular and progressive, but each seminar contains information and techniques that can be immediately integrated into your practice for the benefit of your patients.

All SOTO Europe instructors are certified and experienced in both the practical application and teaching of Sacro Occipital Technique. Teaching methods include group presentations, demonstrations, step-by-step instruction and practical workshops to help all attendees gain a full understanding of the material covered in each module.  Chiropractors booking a place on one of our seminars will receive free membership of SOTO Europe (worth £60) for the year from when they book the course. See the About SOTO page for more information.

Registration - January, March and Europe
The registration desk is located just outside the seminar rooms. You will be required to register for your weekend seminar on the Saturday morning.  This will ensure that you will be marked as attending and can then download your CPD certificates from your online account.  After signing in, you will be given the relevant notes for the course.  Instructions on how to download your certificate can be downloaded from this article.

You will receive a badge or label with your name and seminar on it, please ensure you wear you badge at all times and remember to return this at the end of the weekend – we like to recycle!

There are refreshments available during registration and plenty of room for you to mingle.

Registration - February
Registration is the same as January and March but with the added task of choosing where you would like to sit for the dinner, if you have registered to attend.  Once you have signed into the course and received your notes, you will be directed to a seating plan.  Please write you name on the table where you would like to sit.  This plan will be up until the end of the first break, after which time it needs to go to the organisers at the hotel so they know who is seated where for food orders and name cards.  If you have not chosen your seat by then, we will allocate a table for you.

If you have driven to the seminar, please log your registration number with reception to avoid a parking charge.  Delegates to the seminars are entitled to free parking during the day.  If you are staying over at the hotel, please ensure that your bedroom package includes free parking.

In the seminars
When in your seminar room, please read and sign the waiver on the desk and hand it back to a lecturer or table instructor.

Practical workshops are an integral part of these seminars and although we do supply a couple of benches, more is always better!  So if you do have a portable bench, it would be very helpful if you could bring it with you to maximise the practical elements of the course.  The benches will be locked safely away on Saturday evening so you do not need to take it away and set it up again on the Sunday.

Equipment and book orders
For UK seminars, equipment and books are available to buy during the seminar weekend from the first break on the Saturday up to the last break on the Sunday morning.  We can only bring a certain number of everything with us, so if you definitely want to buy something specific during the weekend, please email Tracy at and ask her to put one aside for you.  We will then ensure this is brought along and you can pick it up and pay for it during the weekend.

Please let me know by the Monday before the seminar weekend if you have any dietary requirements.  We do ask that snacks and lunch include options for vegetarians and people that are gluten free.  Please let me know if you have any specific requirements so we can accommodate.

Please be aware that our seminars are only open to registered, certified chiropractic professionals and students attending a validated course. By booking a place at any of our seminars you are confirming that you are a registered chiropractor and therefore have the right to attend. SOTO Europe reserves the right to ask for confirmation of these credentials prior to admitting anyone to a seminar, and also to refuse entry to a seminar to any individual who is unable to provide evidence of current registration. No refunds will be offered to individuals booking a place on one of our seminars who are subsequently refused entry on eligibility grounds.

Please note that seminars offering only a 1st year graduate discount rate and not a student rate are only really suitable for qualified chiropractors.

It is your responsibility to ensure that you are eligible to attend the seminars you have booked.

Cancellation Policy

We reserve the right to cancel seminars due to unforeseen circumstances or to make alterations to fees, arrangements and dates.

Cancellations received in writing 28 days before the seminar date will be entitled to a full refund (minus any bank charges that may occur as a result of the refund).  Cancellations between 28 and 14 days before the seminar date will incur a 50% fee (minus any incurred charges).  No refunds will be given for cancellations or no-shows after this date.
